Centralia Book - spreads
I have explored the slow decay of
the town Centralia, Pennsylvania following the event of a mine fire
which began in 1962 and still continues to burn today. My use of
mixed media and muted colours create a desolate atmosphere and
through emotive imagery of the smoke, my work reflects the fire's
destructive influence on the landscape and the community.
